2014: Madi Bishop and I took a comic book creation class at UVic under the tutelage of Lee Henderson. Madi didn’t want to write so much, and serendipitously I about as good as drawing as most four year olds.
Madi created these cute almost blob-like characters named Zubi and Gurt that she referred to as philosophy bros. I came up with a backstory and a script. What follows is something that resembles Fantastic Voyage meets Adventure Time meets academia.
